Referred to in high regard by many as “The Meister” and some as “Meistermind”, Bernard Kafui Sokpe has earned this moniker for exceptional excellence in the fields of brand marketing, entrepreneurship and cultural impact over 15 years. Bernard’s seasoned expertise as a brand marketing professional spans over a decade of career experience working in telecom, e-commerce, fintech, entertainment and the digital creator economy.

Bernard began his career in advertising in 4am, a Saatchi owned agency, moved to Vodafone Ghana where he spent 3 years of his early career days as a brand specialist and marketing manager. A pioneering digital professional responsible for creating the first ever digital strategy and the first youth mobile telephony product for the telecom giant. A feat that earned him many accolades and rewards. This set-off his career and propelled him ahead of his time into many leadership roles in a slew of tech companies after Vodafone Ghana, some namely Tonaton, Fido and Hubtel.

Bernard worked at Twitter, as senior partner manager for Africa before Elon Musk’s rebrand to X, and he was famous for amplifying the work of Africa’s most influential voices across news, sports and entertainment. Bernard in this role cemented the need for global recognition for Africans. Channeling his influence amongst African youth, he amplified over 80,000 African voices online through his impactful
Africa to the world” campaigns on and off the platform.

Aside from many entrepreneurial ventures he is involved in, currently Bernard is the CEO and Co-founder of Jambo Spaces, which is Ghana’s first digital creator hub and incubator, supporting African youth and nurturing a community of African creators/creatives to build a career from content creation and creative work. He also doubles as a brand director at Juventus Academy where he nurtures talented and passionate African children to become footballers with opportunities to play competitive football globally.

Being an avid learner, Bernard holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication design from KNUST and an MSC in Brand Leadership from University of East Anglia, UK. With a social media audience of over 150,000 teeming followers, Bernard’s influence in the African tech and digital creator space cannot be ignored.

Bernard lives in Accra, Ghana. An art , music and travel enthusiast, and a dad with two adorable daughters. Bernard is also a captivating keynote and TedX speaker, and is very passionate about Africa and the impact of technology on the continent.
